15 Minutes (ongoing)

15 Minutes is an ongoing collage project that satirizes the media's ability to sensationalize themes, people, and events in order to make them impossible to process logically. "Sex, Vegetables, Brothers and Sisters!" references the introductory line of Andy Warhol's Fifteen Minutes' first episode, encapsulating a few seemingly minute subjects that popular culture makes fantastic. The same headline given to an array of sensational media events aims to refocus the reader to consider the value (or lack thereof) of the subject matter separate from the narrative value of the vessel (or voice) in which it is being relayed.
